Next Generation Mortgages, is a family owned business which started trading in March 2015 under the name Next Generation Mortgages, consistent with our full service of finance solutions – we are no longer just about mortgages!
The business is owned 100% by managing director Andrew Melling, but operates with multiple brokers and the support of administrative staff, to ensure service quality is paramount and front and centre of everything we do.
Andrew Melling operated as a financial adviser for 20 years before deciding to sell his financial planning business to focus on the finance needs of our clients and referral partners. We now assist multiple other financial advisers, accountants, and lawyers with their own clients, offering a truly boutique service. We are predominantly a referral only business; our clients come organically from friends, colleagues and family of existing clients, as well as from our custom selected referral partners. Andrew and James assisted me in process of refinancing one investment and setting up a new loan for another. They were good to communicate to and James loves a chat on the phone to ease the process, he was also good with being flexible as to where we could meet up to discuss matters in person. They always answered any questions if ever I had doubts and made it all happen. Was good to bounce ideas off the both of them.

NGM we easy to deal with and fast to respond to emails and phone calls. We had a complicated refinance and split mortgage to set up but NGM handled it all so what felt like a complicated process at the beginning was really very easy in the end. I would recommend NGM to anyone looking for an experienced Mortage broker.

Andrew and Daniela were amazing. I got my initial home loan with Andrew in 2018 and just recently re-financed down to an amazing rate. They're really easy to talk to and no question is a bother. Finance is always a stressful matter, but this team made it so simple and straightforward. Highly recommend this team.

When I first met Andy (Andrew) I was renting and looking for a home, had no idea how much I could borrow and no idea about the process. Over a Zoom meeting Andy went through my options with me and it didn’t take long before I was pre-approved for finance and had signed a contract to buy my first home!
The lender that we went with had a very low rate of (under 2% p.a), which was awesome, but unfortunately they weren’t the best lender to deal with up to settlement. Thanks to Andy though, he made the whole process a lot easier for me, and made everything much less stressful than it could have been. The communication he had between all parties was fantastic and smoothed out any issues that we faced along the road. Definitely couldn’t have done it without him.

I thought that owning a small business would make it a lot more challenging to get approved for a mortgage. NGM knew exactly what lenders to consider and which to avoid and I couldn't believe what an amazing interest rate and quick approval they were able to achieve for me.
The process was excellent from start to finish. Andy and Daniela were great to deal with and with Andy also being a financial planner, he provided me with some other great info and options moving forward. I can't recommend Next Generation Mortgages enough if you're looking for a mortgage broker in Melbourne.
